Scotwaste Monarchs scored another away win at Sheffield by 47 to 45 but the score does not reflect the dominance of the Monarchs in the match.

The Scotwaste Monarchs still have two away league matches to complete this season and the first one takes place this evening at Sheffield.

The Scotwaste Monarchs made a great start to their Premier League Play-offs with home and away wins against Berwick Bandits. This weekend they race home and away matches against the other team in their Play-off Semi Final group, Workington, knowing that by Saturday night a Play-off final place could be secured.

I've only just got my breath back from a weekend in which I've been to 2 countries, 4 tracks, seen 5 meetings with 67 different riders and watched at least 82 heats of Speedway!

Although the Play-Off match at Berwick prevented any of the team making the climb the assent of Britain's highest mountain went ahead on Saturday.

Home favourite Simon Stead won the Premier League Riders Championship at Sheffield on Sunday evening.

Craig Cook and Stevie Worrall line up in the Premier League Riders Championship at Sheffield this afternoon hoping to bring another title to the Scotwaste Monarchs.
