What the Fork Monarchs have signed Drew Kemp as their Rising Star for the remainder of the season, and he will make his debut against Birmingham on Friday.

Coming up at Armadale Stadium will be back-to-back Brummies! What The Fork Monarchs will take on Birmingham Brummies on consecutive weeks, starting this Friday 3rd September from 7:30pm in a crucial Championship match, then again on Friday 10th September in the Knock Out Cup Quarter Final!

What the Fork Monarchs are pleased to announce the arrival of 19 year old Anders Rowe to ride for us, following his release by Redcar. He will replace William Lawson in the side.

The What the Fork Monarchs were comprehensively beaten at Armadale tonight, 50-40, by league leaders Poole Pirates, in spite of captain Sam Masters piling up his highest ever total of 19 points for Monarchs.

Rider Replacement is in effect for Richie Worrall who hasn't recovered from his hand injury and Drew Kemp steps in for Luke Crang who is recovering from a non-speedway related injury. Tap here for the full line-ups!

Oh, for a return to a time when Friday nights at Armadale were simple, straightforward and tied up well before the interval. The thrill element might be somewhat watered down (like Armadale needs any more water), but at least the old ticker wouldn't have to suffer the stress of too many heart-in-the-mouth moments.
