William Lawson and Christian Henry have swapped clubs, with William becoming a full-time Monarch at last.

The deal was finalised between the promotions at the recent Conference. Christian, who was a Monarch in 2000-2002 and remained a club asset, goes to Tyneside with our best wishes. Riding for the Diamonds has brought out the best in him.

William has not yet been handed a place in the Scotwaste Monarchs' lineup for 2007 ? but there is nothing sinister in that as no-one has a team place yet for next season.
