Monarchs' Italian Daniele Tessari says he is ready to race against Berwick on Friday night.

He will form a powerhouse reserve pairing with Matthew Wethers over the next few meetings, at least till the averages change again.

Replying to a text enquiry about how his foot injury has progressed he said:

"Not too bad thanks. Tonight I race!"
