The Scotwaste Monarchs scored their biggest win of the season when they beat the Barmy Army Fen Tigers 69-21.

The visiting fans made plenty of noise and added to the atmosphere. The match went pretty much according to everyone's expectations, with Monarchs dropping only a few points.

Theo Pijper was back at the scene of his former glories and after a tentative start, he stopped Derek Sneddon's maximum by passing him in heat 10, and then won heat 12 from Matthew Wethers. He was givenm an excellent reception.

In the end the only unbeaten home rider was Ryan Fisher, though Andrew Tully had another huge score with 16+3. Harder tasks lie ahead.
