Monarchs' Ryan Fisher and Andrew Tully did well in their first team matches of the season, turning out for their Elite League clubs.

Fisher put last weekend's troubled Blunsdon opener behind him to score 7+1 from 4 rides in Robins' 55-41 win over Lejonen. He had a win and a paid win in his scorechart.

Tully rode at nimber four for Peterborough after a late call-up to stand in for Karol Zabik. He did very well to score 3+1 as Panthers lost 42-48 to a strong Danish Select. He beat Charlie Gjedde twice.

A Panthers' observer told us: "We're well pleased - his efforts deserved more."

Now the riders trot up the road to appear at tomorrow's Press and Practise day at Armadale, where the new race jackets and the club captain will be revealed!
