We made a poor start to our match at Rye House, ten down after 3 and 20 down after 9, and although we improved thereafter we got nowhere near winning a match point.

Generally poor gating cost us dear, although there was some good racing and we did manage to get four different race winners.

Andrew Tully and Matthew Wethers were our most consistent performers. Matthew won heat 4 and was unlucky to be excluded after a heat 13 first bend fall.

Andrew was the thrillmaker again, overcoming some bad starts and showing tremendous pace and passing ability.

Ryan Fisher went through the fence in heat 1 and only showed his best form in winning the twice-started heat 13.

Our other winner was Michal Rajkowski who came to life with paid 6 from his final two rides in heats 10 and 12.

We could have done with some big scoring from reserve, but Aaron's only decent ride was a second place in heat 1. Sean was in a scoring position a couple of times but failed to pick up anything.
