  Edinburgh Monarchs

The Scotwaste Monarchs swept to victory by 57-35 on the day and 117-65 on aggregate in a very one-sided Scottish Cup second leg.

Monarchs were brilliant and Tigers were very poor, it was as simple as that. Ryan said rather cheekily "It was like taking candy from a baby" and his 14 points obviously were a major contribution.

We never quite know what Aaron is going to do but a score of 15+2 from him virtually ensures a victory anywhere.

Andrew Tully, riding so superbly at the moment, chipped in with 12+1 in spite of still being in discomfort, and both Michal Rajkowski and Matthew Wethers finished on 8.

The Raj did some brilliant overtaking on the bar bend, and Matthew's score was spoily slightly by a last ride engine failure when second.

Byron didn't pick up a point but he was very unlucky to be excluded in heat 12 after apparently passing Lee Dicken. He was excluded after Dicken fell.

So we have won the Scottish Cup for the 11th time in the last 12 contests, and we didn't even need Kevin there.

Tigers' guests were all poor, with only William Lawson and Josh Grajczonek really doing anything.
