Kevin Wolbert completed the Under-21 stage of his career with an excellent 10 points in the third leg of the World Championship at Pardubice.

Darcy Ward again showed his determination by retaining his title, overhauling the three riders up ahead of him to win the title after a run-off with Janowski (Poland) and Bogdanov (Latvia).

Kevin will perhaps not be happy with his overall position of eighth but non-finishes in the rain-ruined first round at Gdansk effectively ruled out his bid for a top three place. Today he started with a last also so he did well to bag ten points in the end.

He defeated Patrick Hougaard, Jurica Pavlic and Rene Bach along the way so it was a good way to sign off from the Under-21s.

Top scorers in today's meeting were Janowski 14, Ward 13 and Vakulik 12, then Wolbert on 10 along with Pavlic and Dennis Andersson.
