MONARCHS TURN OUT FOR JAMES

An Edinburgh Select rode in the James Grieves 20-Year Testimonial at Ashfield today and finished in third spot.

Ryan Fisher (6), Kalle Katajisto (5), Matthew Wethers (5) and William Lawson (3) all did their bit for Scotland's no. 1 who of course was a Monarch in 1999.

The other sides were all bolstered by guests, including Freddie Lindgren who won all his heats on the day.

There was some concern when Ryan Fisher took a heavy tumble in his last ride but he has reported that he is OK in spite of a bang on the head and will be fine for Friday's Cup Final.
