SOMERSET MATCH OFF

Tonight's home match against Somerset is off, with a lot of rain around, some of it torrential.

No-one in Edinburgh would have believed there was any chance of the match going ahead as the rain, thunder and lightning has been ferocious.

In fact it hasn't been as bad at Armadale, but it is arriving there now and we have no option but to postpone.

No restaging date has been agreed yet.
