More names have been announced for the Stormy Wethers Testimonial at Armadale on Friday 17th August, including two fellow countrymen and a former team mate – Josh Grajczonek (Glasgow), Christian Henry (Newcastle) and Ludvig Lindgren (Newcastle).

Speaking for the Aussies, Josh said "Matthew's a good bloke. When I first heard that he was having a Testimonial I said if you're looking for anyone I'll ride in it. You want him to have a good meeting so I'm happy to ride. He's an Aussie, and us Aussies stick together!"

Christian added "He's a nice bloke isn't he! We've known each other for a fair few years, I've certainly got nothing bad to say about him."

The Lindgren connection comes from his Wolverhampton days.

Five of the home side will be riding – Cook, Tully, Pijper, Sneddon and Wethers, with Marcel Helfer taking a reserve berth, and there will be great interest in how yet another young Aussie does, because 16 year old Max Fricke has agreed to race.

Max and his dad Rodger know the Wethers family well and Max has been impressing with demo rides in recent weeks.

There is now just one more name to be announced for Matthew's big night.

FIELD SO FAR: Craig Cook, Joe Screen, Kevin Doolan, Theo Pijper, Derek Sneddon, Rory Schlein, Max Fricke, James Grieves, Ty Proctor, Andrew Tully, Christian Henry, Josh Grajczonek, Ludvig Lindgren, Magnus Karlsson, Matthew Wethers plus one other. 20 heats plus a final.
