Scotwaste Monarchs fans based in Edinburgh will be pleased to learn that a coach will make the weekly Friday night trip to Armadale. Once again in association with Duddingston Private Hire the regular service will commence again on the first night of the season on 29th March. However, there will be a change in the route this year.

In an effort to encourage more supporters to travel this year the coach will start its journey further east with the first departure being from the bus stop outside Asda at the Jewel at 5.45pm, moving onto a pick up on London Road, opposite Meadowbank Stadium at 6.00pm before departing, as previously, from Waterloo Place at 6.15pm with arrival at the stadium anticipated for 7.00pm.

The fares will be the same as 2012 being £8 for adults and £3 for children. Thanks to the assistance of Duddingston Private Hire there will be a slight change in the event of the coach trip taking place only to find, on arrival, that the meeting has been called off. Should this happen then all travelling on the rained off trip will be allowed to travel, free of charge, at some point later in the season.

For those who may wish to use the coach on a regular basis it is possible to substantially reduce the weekly cost by buying a season ticket for the coach. Season tickets are available at a cost of £100 for adults and £30 for children. Anyone wishing a season ticket should send their name and address together with a cheque made payable to Edinburgh Speedway to: Coach Pass, 78 Tryst Park, Edinburgh, EH10 7HE.
