Mitchell Davey will return to the Scotwaste Monarchs team for their match at Glasgow on Sunday afternoon six weeks after breaking his wrist at the same track.

Mitchell had the plaster removed from the wrist on Thursday and undertook some practice at Armadale on Friday night. Although he felt a few twinges in the wrist during that practice session he feels confident that the injury will stand up to racing. He has missed six matches since his injury.

With the full team available the Scotwaste Monarchs will travel to Glasgow in a fairly confident mood. Their last visit produced a crushing 61 to 32 win for the Scotwaste Monarchs and although the Tigers have strengthened their team since then that new team has still to win a meeting.

A win for the Scotwaste Monarchs by more than seven points will lift them into third place in the Premier League.

The Glasgow Management confirm that tennis fans can watch the Wimbledon Final in the stadium bar.
