The vandals have returned to Armadale for the second time in five days and have again been involved in a glass smashing exercise.

Reported Monarchs director Ronnie Anderson, “We had a visit from some unwanted vandals at the end of last week and they smashed every window in our tractors. It was heart breaking to see the mess on Friday morning and it took the glass replacement company almost five hours on Friday to fix the damage.

I got a call from the stadium manager on Monday evening to report that between the time that he left the stadium on Monday afternoon to the time he returned later in the afternoon to prepare for the Monday evening greyhound meeting they had been in again and again gone on a smashing spree.”

Although the damage done on Monday was not as great as the previous visit it has still left the Club with an unexpected considerable expense.

It is hoped that the culprits have been caught on the stadium video security system and judging by the time of the visits it seems likely that local school children have been involved.
