D-DAY IS HERE

Tonight will belong to Derek Sneddon as an interesting and hopefully well-balanced lineup gathers for a four-team event with additional demo heats, all to celebrate his career.

The final team lineups, juggled slightly for balance, are as follows:

EDINBURGH (sponsored by Ride & Skid It): MARK LEMON, MATTHEW WETHERS, JOZSEF TABAKA, FREDE SCHOTT

GLASGOW (sponsored by The wedding Store): JAMES GRIEVES, THEO PIJPER, JOEY RINGWOOD, RYAN MacDONALD

NEWCASTLE (sponsored by Duddingston Private Hire): KENNETH BJERRE, ANDREW TULLY, RENE BACH, ADAM McKINNA

REST OF THE WORLD: (sponsored by The Wedding Store): RYAN FISHER, CLAUS VISSING, WAYNE CARTER, LUDVIG LINDGREN

Derek will ride for all four teams once each, and Liam Carr will be meeting reserve.

There will also be Veterans’ Events, a Flat Track demonstration from Les and Aidan Collins and a Grand Final.

Admission prices tonight are the normal Armadale prices, and the souvenir match agazine is £3. The parade will be at 7:15pm.

THANKS FROM MITCHELL: During the match against Ipswich there was a collection for injured Monarch Mitchell Davey.

The young Aussie has asked that we pass on his thanks to organisers and those who contributed. He says “I plan to use the money to help repair my bike, help fund new gear after everything was cut off following the accident, and also help to cover the cost of what I spent sorting out the engine before the meeting!”
