It's now just over two weeks until our air fence must be in place for the first time for our practice session at Armadale on Saturday 22nd March.

We are now moving quickly to a conclusion with the air fence. The necessary alterations have been completed and the air fence panels have been delivered to the stadium. Unfortunately the bill for the balance of the payment due, we have already paid a substantial deposit, has also arrived and will be due for payment shortly.

We are now just over a week away from our next big fund raiser, A Brief History of Speedway Racing In Edinburgh." It has proved to be a massive task to set up this show, from preparing the presentation for the night to actually establishing that the hall can cope with what we want to do. We had a site visit to Meggetland last weekend to ensure that everything is possible.

We will be starting the show at exactly 7.30pm on the 14th so we would ask everyone to be in their seats at least ten minutes before that. The doors to the hall will open at 6.30pm and we would request that everyone gets there as early as possible so that we can try to avoid congestion on the night. We will be having an interval of thirty minutes during the evening to serve the buffet.

There are now six tickets remaining for anyone who wishes to join us on the night. Book online.

Although we have added nothing to the Fund from the History night yet we are very hopeful that it will add a substantial sum next week. However, we have had a good week for fund raising and the total now stands at £15212.90. Thank you to everyone who has helped us to get to this total.
