The Scotwaste Monarchs head south on Saturday evening for another League Cup match at Workington

Derek Sneddon has confirmed on Saturday morning that he is not fit to ride at Derwent Park. Rider replacement will cover for his absence and that, potentially gives extra rides to Aaron Fox, Max Fricke and reserves Sedgmen and Worrall.

Workington have won both their home matches this season including a massive 60 to 31 win over Glasgow last week. Josh Grajczonek has yet to be beaten by a visiting rider this season and that will be the target for the Scotwaste Monarchs this evening.

It looks like it might be tight between the Scotwaste Monarchs and the Comets for the top spot in the League Cup section so even a single point for the Scotwaste Monarchs tonight could prove crucial.
