We're back in racing action at Armadale this evening and it looks like the weather will allow us, on this occasion,to get our league campaign underway.

The Scotwaste Monarchs are at full strength for the meeting and are better rested than they had anticipated having returned from Ipswich, or at least part of the way to Ipswich, at a somewhat earlier time than expected. Stevie Worrall had the shortest journey yesterday having travelled just sixty miles before he turned for home again.

Top of the table, Scunthorpe Scorpions provide the opposition this evening and they bring in Glasgow's Theo Pijper as a guest replacementfor the injured Anders Mellgren and also have Mason Campton guesting for Thomas Jorgensen who is in Deenmark for a National Championship semi-final.

Another big crowd is expected tonight. The cut price VIP hospitality offer has produced an excellent response and our hospitality areas will be well filled tonight.

It's the start of a busy time for the Scotwaste Monarchs. Max Fricke and Sam Masters are both riding Elite League on Saturday. The whole team is in action on Monday at Scunthorpe with Stevie Worrall also attempting an Elite League meeting on Monday evening. Tuesday sees the team in action at Peterborough and then Craig Cook travels south for an Elite League meeting at Poole.
