Plymouth Devils are considering making a change a change to their team ahead of the Scotwaste Monarchs' visit to Devon on Saturday and it could considerably strengthen their team.

With no match at Armadale on Friday night the Scotwaste Monarchs are next in action on Saturday at the most distant track to them at Plymouth in Devon. That's just a few miles short of 500 miles away and when they get there it seems likely that the Devils will have a new member of their team. Apparently Ben Reade has retired from professional racing and the Devils have a big points gap available to secure a replacement.

On Thursday afternoon the way was cleared for Ty Proctor to join Sheffield and that releases Adam Roynon into marketplace. Could he be heading for Plymouth? His average certainly fits.

The Devils were in action at a rain soaked Redcar on Thursday evening attempting to defend an eight point lead to progress to the next round of the Knock Out Cup. It came down to a last heat decider but Ben Barker won that race to take the Devils through.
