Both teams will be at full strength as the Newcastle Diamonds bring a powerful challenge to the Scotwaste Arena on Friday evening.

Max Fricke had a fine evening racing in Denmark on Wednesday for Esbjerg in their match against Slangerup. Max took six rides and scored 11 and 3 bonus points to help his team to a big win of 56 to 40. On his return to Scotland on Thursday afternoon Max reported no ill effects and is fit for Friday night's clash at Armadale.

For the Diamonds it appears that Lewis Kerr has declared himself fit and will line up at number 2. That gives the Diamonds a very powerful opening pairing in Danny King and Kerr. Lewis was originally placed at number 2 in the team as he was expected to be fit for the match and the general feeling is that position 2 is best for rider replacement.

Of course in is Ed the Monarch's birthday tomorrow and as well as under 12s being admitted free they will also receive many free gifts to help Ed celebrate his birthday.

On Thursday night Stevie Worrall scored paid 9 in helping Swindon to a big win over Lakeside.

Berwick matched our away record with a win at Redcar on Thursday night but overall they are not quite a match for us as they have dropped points at home.
