It has been a busy Thursday night for the majority of the Scotwaste Monarchs as four of them have been riding.

Aaron Fox guested for Rye House at Redcar and it was a successful night for the Rockets picking up their first away league point of the season. Aaron unfortunately didn't contribute to their score chart. That dropped league point for the Bears ensures that they will not be in the play-offs.

Max Fricke had a guest booking for Coventry as they thrashed King's Lynn by 52 to 38. Max ended up with 7 and a bonus from his five rides.

Down at Swindon Stevie Worrall managed just 8 from his four rides and on the other side Justin Sedgmen scored 5 from 5 rides in a Wolverhampton team that had five guests, rider replacement and only Tom Perry of their own riders.

Friday night's opposition at Armadale, the Sheffield Tigers, equalled their biggest home win of the season in defeating play-off contenders Workington. The other play off contenders, Peterborough, also suffered a big defeat at Ipswich as the Witches moved six points clear of us in second place in the league. However, the Witches complete their league programme at Plymouth on Saturday.

We are looking for match sponsors for our meetings next weekend, the double header on Friday and the match against Newcastle on Saturday. See any official at the stadium on Friday evening if you are interested.
