  Edinburgh Monarchs

The Scotwaste Monarchs turned in one of their most dominant displays of the season to defeat Rye House by 59 to 36 to secure four vital league points and move back into second place in the Premier League.

Craig Cook was in magical form and scored 17+ 1 a paid maximum winning from the gate and powering through from the back if required. Sam Masters was also in blistering form and suffered just one defeat from Jason Garrity in his third ride. Max Fricke also produced an excellent display scoring paid 12 from his five races.

Justin was still feeling the effects of his first race fall at Armadale on Friday night but bravely rode on for his paid 9 return. Reserves Derek and Aaron battled hard for their points. No gifts for them tonight. It was one of Derek's highest ever scores.at Rye House.

Jason Garrity was the only home rider to offer any real resistance scoring 15 including a successful tactical ride.

The home supporters were generous in their applause of a super Monarchs showing.
