It's less than twenty four hours now until the biggest meeting so far of the 2014 season takes place at Armadale.

Both teams, as previously announced, are unchanged for the first match of the night, the Knock Out Cup semi final first leg. The stadium gates will be open at 6.15pm and the first race will be at the tapes at 7.00pm so don't be late.

For the second match there is a change with Peterborough's guest at number one now being Aaron Summers instead of Richard Lawson who was taking the place of Lasse Bjerre, who is, apparently, withholding his services. Aaron is certainly more of a track expert than Richard Lawson so that move has strengthened the visitors.

We now have more news on Nicki Barrett who was withdrawn from the Panthers line up yesterday. He suffered a shoulder and wrist injury in Denmark a couple of weeks ago and although he has continued racing, including taking six rides at Peterborough on Sunday, he has now had to report back to his doctor in Denmark who has signed him off for two weeks.

With the significant discount on offer, advance tickets have been selling well for the meeting and we are on target for the biggest advance sale of the season.
