Max Clegg comfortably cleared the semi final hurdle of the British Under 21 Championship to qualify for the final at Coventry on 14 April.

Max finished the meeting with 14 points and would have had a maximum 15 had he not fallen in his first ride when well clear. He remounted in that race to claim second. Throughout the afternoon he set, consistently, the fastest times and defeated Ben Morley, the other 14 point scorer, in his fourth ride to give him the number one spot.

The opposition will be somewhat stronger in the final as the seven seeded riders include Robert Lambert, Kyle Howarth, Adam Ellis and Josh Bates.

At Glasgow Sam Masters scored 9 guesting for Berwick and helped them to one League Cup point as they lost 47 to 43. The Tigers now have 6 league Cup points and are well clear at the top of the group.
