Craig Cook was joined by his former Monarchs colleagues Max Fricke and Stevie Worrall as rode for Belle Vue for the first time this season at Wolverhampton on Tuesday night.

Josh Bates proved his downfall in his first race and we only have to ask Jason Doyle for confirmation of how good Josh can be when he gets in front. In his second he had a paid win behind partner Scott Nicholls before getting out of control in his third and retiring. His last race was in heat 14 and it was vital that the Aces took a heat advantage being six points behind. He finished third behind partner Scott Nicholls to finish on paid 7. The Aces lost 49 to 41.

Looking ahead to Friday and what looks like being a tough test against the Workington Comets, a team with five heatleaders, we again have VIP hospitality packages available for individuals or small groups to purchase. £25 for non-alcohol and £30 for the alcoholic version. Go to the buy tickets link on this website to book.

Next Tuesday Max Clegg will be in action at Coventry in the British Under 21 Championship. He has draw number 9 giving him a first race against defending champion Josh Bates, Ryan Terry Daley and Stefan Nielsen.
