Tonight's meeting between Border Roofing Monarchs and Ipswich was called off thirty five minutes before start time as the riders conducted a track inspection.

There had been rain at five o'clock at the stadium but by six it had petered out and although the track was wet it was certainly raceable. When the referee eventually appeared at the pits gate at quarter to seven he decided to undertake a track inspection. It was during that inspection that a further short sharp shower fell and a decision to cancel was taken. Needless to say the rain soon stopped and none has fallen since.

No date has been set for the rerun. Advance tickets purchased for the meeting will be valid for a future meeting until used.
