PLRC LINE UP ANNOUNCED

The Premier League Riders Championship takes place at Sheffield again this year but it is to be staged slightly earlier this season on Sunday 6th September.

The earlier staging date has also produced an earlier than normal announcement of the field and the Border Roofing Monarchs will have two riders at Owlerton in early September.

Craig Cook is the highest qualifier with his 9.81 average and Sam Masters also makes it into the competition with his 9.13 average. That average is only exceeded by Danny King, Edward Kennett and Brady Kurtz.

Both our boys have won the title before and will both be keen to do so again. Craig has been drawn at number 6 and Sam at number 8 so they will meet in heat 2 with opposition from Stevie Worrall and Ricky Wells.

Sam visits the hospital this Friday and we hope for some good news on his injured hand.
