CIVIC RECEPTION WELL RECEIVED

At the invitation of the Lord Provost and Council of the City of Edinburgh almost 100 members of the Edinburgh Monarchs community attended a Civic Reception at the City Chambers in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening.

The event was in honour of the marvellous success of the Club during the 2015 season. Everyone in attendance had made a vital contribution to that success and included riders, management, track staff, riders' mechanics, sponsors, and representatives from the Monarchs Fans Trust, Monarchs Speedway Supporters Club and other supporters.

Max Clegg and Craig Cook made the long trip to represent the team and talked confidently about the season ahead.

Bailie Norman Work spoke on behalf of the Council and Chairman Alex Harkess responded on behalf of the Club.
