The race for a World Grand Prix qualifying place commences at the end of this week with three of the four qualifiers taking place on Saturday.

One of the three qualifiers on Saturday takes place at King's Lynn and Sam Masters will be there. He needs to finish in the top seven to qualify for the semi final and he'll be up against some tough opposition. France are sending Gabriel Dubernard and Alexandre Dubrana. Norway have Lasse Frederiksen.

More difficult opposition is likely to come from Bjerre, Lindgren, Cook, Kasprzak, Andersen and Kylmakorpi. The two other rounds take place in Denmark and Italy.

Just over a week later on Monday 16th the final quarter final takes place in Abensberg Germany and Kevin Wolbert will be in that meeting. Up against him there will be Austria's Daniel Gappmeier, Xavier Muralet from France and Ziga Kovacic from Slovenia.

Tougher opposition will be King, Dudek, Smolinski, Bogdanovs, Jedrzejak and Fricke and maybe Jozsef Tabaka might fancy his chances.

Our boys should both have a good chance of qualifying for the semi finals.
