Tonight we stage the event which traditionally kicks off the build-up to the start of the Speedway Season, the Away highlights Video Show. It’s at the Thomas Morton Hall, east end of Ferry Road starting at 7:30 with the doors open an hour earlier.

There will be two hours of exciting action on the screen, and believe me it is exciting this year. Pre-start time we’ll have a photo slideshow from the away matches of 2016. We’ll be meeting some of the team during the evening and it looks like captain Sam Masters will be joined by Josh Pickering, Max Clegg and Mitchell Davey. Ricky Wells arrived in Edinburgh yesterday but had to head off to Wolverhampton to pick up his bikes.

The bosses will be there of course and they should have some interesting news tonight. Unlike the last show, the Bar WILL be there, it’s now run by the Hall organisers and they guarantee it will be there!

Our souvenir stall will be there as usual, the Fans Trust will be there, There will be our world-famous raffle, and John Campbell will have available 2017 Monarchs calendars for sale, now half price at £4, season ticket application forms, coach pass application forms and tickets for the Season Launch Live.

It’s all happening at the TMH tonight. Just £2 (adults) and 50p (concessions).
