Sam Aims for CRI Title

The Championship Riders Individual title comes round early this year with the meeting taking place this evening at Sheffield from 5pm.

We have one representative in Sam Masters, a former winner. Sam wasn't in our colours when he won it but the only other former winner in the field, Craig Cook, did win it as a Monarch in 2012 and repeated the feat last year still as a Monarchs' asset.

The line up is touted as one of the best in recent years with many riders in the mix to take the title.

Those who may be considered amongst the contenders include Masters and Cook, joined by Erik Riss, Nick Morris, Richard Lawson, and home challenger Danny King.

It is, though, hard to rule out any of the remaining field who all could be spoilers on their day. Here is the full line up:
