The Club wish to thank all involved following the events of last Friday's home match against Poole Pirates which produced quite a shock for everyone. We were grateful for the more positive news that followed 24 hours later.

Our injured photographer, Peter Hill, was released from hospital on Tuesday following excellent care and will now wear a neck brace to assist with the healing of two small vertebrae fractures but a full recovery is anticipated.

Stellar Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell said, "Friday was a traumatic affair but I am delighted to hear the good news of Peter's recovery.

"I wish to thank all of our medical team, the NHS medical care, and all of our staff and others for their swift action on Friday. I would also like to thank all of our supporters for their patience on Friday and also for their terrific support and well wishes in the days that have followed.

"It was tremendous news to hear that Peter returned home on Tuesday to continue his recovery there and even better to see him back posting photos from Friday's match as we all now move forward from the incident. Thank you to all."

Stellar Monarchs return to action away against Redcar Bears tomorrow, Friday 11th August at 7:30pm.

Anyone wishing to send a card to Peter can hand these into the Club Shop at Armadale Stadium next Friday 18th August and these will be sent onto Peter.

The restaging date for the Poole fixture will follow when known along with readmission details.
