The Stellar Monarchs and the Glasgow Tigers lock horns at Armadale tomorrow evening in the deciding match in the Scottish Section of the British Speedway Network series, with the winning team going through to the semi final of the competition.

Monarchs pulled off a great victory at Glasgow a fortnight ago to put themselves at the top of the section, but both teams know that a win on Friday will be enough to take them through. The losing team, even if they gain a point and only lose on the Superheat result, will not go through.

Workington and Scunthorpe are already in the semis from the Northern group, and either Poole or Plymouth will qualify from the southern group.

Monarchs no. 1 Josh Pickering is not fit to take his place on Friday and former Monarchs' star Craig Cook will guest in his place. Craig scored an excellent 14 in Monarchs' defeat at Oxford on Wednesday and is in very good form.

Team manager Alex Harkess comments "It is in our hands it is as simple as that. We rode very well through there so on the surface we have nothing to fear. The only result that matters is that we win and let's hope we can do that. If they are all fit and all produce what they are capable of, then we should be fine."

Friday's match will be Live Streamed for those who cannot attend, details on www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk.
