Pickering returns for epic showdown with Masters and Nicholls

Josh Pickering has declared himself fit for an epic showdown against Armadale experts Sam Masters and Scott Nicholls in this Friday's match against Oxford Cheetahs.

Stellar Monarchs have been boosted by the terrific news that number 1 Josh Pickering will be back in the side this Friday following a recent shoulder injury as the team take on Oxford Cheetahs.

This will whet the appetite of all speedway fans who will be looking forward to a sensational heat 13 line up of Josh Pickering, Justin Sedgmen, Sam Masters and Scott Nicholls. What a race this will be in a night of great action!

Josh will make his return to racing on Thursday as he lines up for Premiership side Sheffield at King's Lynn. This will provide the perfect warm up for his Monarchs return on Friday.

With the good news of Josh's return has come less good news that Max James has discovered that he has fractured a rib following his fall at Armadale last Friday. Max continued to be in discomfort throughout this week and visited hospital where an X-ray confirmed the fracture.

Max will be out for a period of time while the rib heals and his place in the side on Friday will be filled by Monarchs Academy heat leader Max Perry.

Children's Evening on Friday

This Friday is Children's Evening at Armadale Stadium with lots of fun for all the family including inflatables, face painting, and a free giveaway for kids - not forgetting the incredible speedway action on track!

Gates open and the fun beings at 6:30pm with the on track action starting from 7:30pm.

BSN Series Semi Final Draw

Stellar Monarchs have been drawn to face Scunthorpe Scorpions in the semi finals of the BSN Series with dates to be confirmed. Workington will take on Poole in the other semi final.
