Stellar Monarchs are looking forward to a big clash against current table-toppers Scunthorpe Scorpions this Friday at Armadale Stadium.

The Scorpions have set the early pace in the Cab Direct Championship table this season but Stellar Monarchs are ready to put in a big performance to add more points to their own Championship chase.

Stellar Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell said, "In recent matches we have started to get on a roll, boosted by the return of Josh Pickering to the side. We are pleased to be back to full strength on Friday with Max James set to return also.

"The upcoming home-and-away Cab Direct Championship matches against Scunthorpe have an added edge as we will face the Scorpions later this season in the BSN Semi Finals. This is an opportunity to put down a marker against the team currently at the top of the league and we are setting out to do just that.

"When a team from the top end of the league comes to town it always brings out a good crowd and adds to the atmosphere. We are looking forward to seeing a big crowd on Friday to back the team all the way and with Josh, Justin and Paco all in excellent form we are excited for Friday's match."
