Academy lads hunting for the individual crown

Stellar Monarchs Academy have three riders competing tonight in the National League Riders' Championship at Poole. Max Perry, Connor Coles and Dayle Wood will carry the Academy colours, and we won't forget Monarchs' reserve Max James either as he competes also, though representing the Leicester Cubs.

After some confusion it does seem that this is a one-off event and that the Champion will be crowned tonight.

Our men should all be contenders on their known best form, but all of the leading National Leaguers will be there. British Under-21 Champion Sam Hagon will certainly be in the running and as well as our own Connor Coles plus Max James, others in regular Championship team places are Joe Thompson, Ben Trigger, Vinnie Foord, Ace Pijper, Nathan Ablitt and Jake Mulford.
