Stellar Monarchs extended their run of home wins to three with a big victory over Scunthorpe last Friday and now look to continue this good form with away against the Scorpions this Friday.

A solid team performance spearheaded by excellent paid maximums for Josh Pickering and Justin Sedgmen secured a strong 56-34 scoreline over Scunthorpe in an exciting match at Armadale Stadium last week.

A new week brings a new challenge as Stellar Monarchs seek to avoid the sting in Scunthorpe's tail away this Friday. Stellar Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell said, "There has been a growing feel good factor around the team and throughout the club and it was wonderful to see this in full effect last week.

"The team has been producing terrific action on track and getting the results that we all like to see. Our supporters have been immense and there has been a great atmosphere in recent weeks.

"Friday's trip to Scunthorpe will be a different kettle of fish but we will go there determined to bring something back with us."

Stellar Monarchs take on Scunthorpe Scorpions at the Eddie Wright Raceway in Scunthorpe from 7pm followed by WSRA National Development League action with Scunthorpe Stags v Stellar Monarchs Academy in a double header.

There is no match at Armadale Stadium this week with the next home action being next Friday 5th July against Redcar Bears.

Before that Stellar Monarchs go on a summer tour to Plymouth Gladiators on 2nd July and Poole Pirates on 3rd July in a busy period for the team.
