Sedgy fifth in Bonanza

Justin Sedgmen gave a good display in today's Ben Fund Bonanza at Workington, finishing fifth and just missing out on the final after scoring 11 points.

He won heats 5 and 17 and would have made the final had Danny King beaten Antti Vuolas in heat 20, but that didn't happen which meant that both King and Vuolas went through.

Meeting winner was Dan Bewley who won all his races, finishing ahead of the excellent Jan Kvech followed by Vuolas and King.

It was an excellent meeting with overtaking both inside and out in most of the races. All wrapped up in 2.5 hours for 27 races including Women's heats and Youth, involving our lads Rocco Webb, Lewis Hague and Liam Morris.
