Last Friday's crowd for the match against Workington Comets bounced back to a more sustainable level as Stellar Monarchs supporters rallied to support their team and enjoy their Friday night thrills at Armadale Stadium.

There were a lot of positives to come out of Friday's meeting with Workington, not least a significant jump in attendance from the previous Stellar Monarchs meeting.

Co-Promoter John Campbell reported, "I'm very pleased to confirm that Friday night's attendance was more than 13% higher than the previous Monarchs meeting. That's a significant jump and I'm grateful to everyone who came along. I hope we can build on that. We'll be continuing to work hard to add more to the crowd in the weeks to come.

"Of course, we received a very generous donation from the Monarchs Fans Trust which has eased some financial pressure and the Monarchs Grand Draw has also made a vital contribution recently. I'm grateful to the members of both organisations for their continued support of the Club."

There are attractive fixtures coming up over the next month starting with the visit from Berwick Bandits on Friday. There are still some places available in hospitality at the Summer Special VIP price and Ed the Monarch looks forward to welcoming everyone to his Birthday Bash with cake for everyone while stocks last. Ed is also looking forward to welcoming all kids to join him in his annual fun run.
