The annual Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund collection will take place during Friday's match against Berwick Bandits.

The Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund is a charity which has been operating for over 75 years to support and assist injured speedway riders in their time of need.

Each year every track in British Speedway hosts a collection to provide funds for the vital work which the Benevolent Fund carries out.

Last season Monarchs supporters dug deep to donate the second highest amount amongst Championship clubs and the fourth highest amount in the entire country. A tremendous effort!

During tomorrow's match riders from both sides will come into the crowd to collect for the Fund. Details of when this will take place will be announced at the stadium tomorrow.

Please bring cash along to support the collection for which the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund pass on their grateful thanks.

Ed's Birthday Bash

Ed the Monarch's Birthday Bash also takes place this Friday! There will be cupcakes for all whilst stocks last, and kids are invited to join Ed for his annual fun run. Listen out for details during the match as to when this will take place.

Plus, all members of Ed's Mighty Monarchs Kids Club are invited to a special birthday party in hospitality during the match! All members have been contacted via email with details.
