Monarch trio in action at Leicester

This afternoon at Leicester Speedway three of the Monarchs' riders compete in the latest event in the National League Riders Development Series.

It may be uncertain how many of these events there will be – the previous one being at Poole and won by Sam Hagon. Sam competes again today on a track he knows well, and in a strong field.

There are a trio of Monarch boys, namely our Championship reserve Max James and two Academy riders Connor Coles and Max Perry (Connor also in the Championship of course). All three are experienced on the Leicester circuit. They ride at numbers 6,7,8 and so meet in heat 2! All three will welcome the additional meetings this series brings.

There are also strong contenders in the shape of Joe Thompson, Vinnie Foord and sensational William Cairns who has just burst upon the NDL scene.
