Monarchs in an exhibition

As we have mentioned in the match programme, the Stellar Monarchs have been invited to be in an exhibition to be staged from October to January, the working title of this at the moment being "START YOUR ENGINES: Driving and Motor Vehicles in West Lothian". Supporters can assist with preparation for this during Friday's match against Poole.

Francis Osis of the West Lothian Councils Archives and Museums Services will be attending tomorrow's meeting and will have a stand beside the Fans Trust, with Jim Smith of the Trust assisting (and Jim would certainly appreciate any help from anyone else). What Francis wants to do is collect recollections and anecdotes relating to Armadale Speedway.

So pop down to see Francis and his colleague if you think you can help. Don't necessarily moan that we are bottom of the league, tell him about the good times! Francis will have cards you can fill in. He would also be interested in collecting any souvenirs or other items which you might like to donate to the Speedway contribution to the exhibition, though the club will certainly be supplying a few items.

The exhibition will be at Livingston's Howden Park Centre. The opening date in October has still to be set but at the opening we are hoping to have some bikes along for the display.
