Monarchs and Monarchs Academy in action this weekend

It's a busy weekend ahead with both Stellar Monarchs and Stellar Monarchs Academy in away action on Friday followed by the final Academy home match of the season on Saturday.

Stellar Monarchs head away to Scunthorpe Scorpions on Friday evening from 7:30pm seeking a 10 point victory to fire the team into the BSN Series Final against Poole Pirates.

Dan Thompson steps in to cover for the injured Justin Sedgmen with Joe Thompson covering for also injured Kye Thomson.

Simultaneously Stellar Monarchs Academy will also be in away action at Middlesbrough Tigers in the team's final away fixture of the season.

Freddy Hodder covers for Connor Coles who is on Championship duty for the Monarchs while Jacob Clouting replaces Mason Watson who picked up a rib injury in an innocuous looking fall in last Friday's double header.

It's back to home action at Armadale Stadium on Saturday evening with Monarchs Academy completing their season against league champions Leicester Lion Cubs.

The Lion Cubs have already wrapped up the league title and have been unbeaten all season so far - something the Monarchs Academy will be looking to put an end to. Harry McGurk covers for Mason Watson.
