Stellar Monarchs are set to kick off the 2025 season in style with the much-anticipated return of the Scottish Cup derby against Glasgow this April. Get ready for an electrifying clash as we reignite this historic and high-stakes rivalry – it's a showdown you won't want to miss!

The 2025 season will get underway a week earlier than previously announced, with the Monarchs hosting the first leg of the Scottish Cup derby at Armadale Stadium on Friday 4th April from 7:30pm in what promises to be a night filled with thrilling action and excitement. The return leg will take place a week later at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium on Friday 11th April.

Monarchs co-promoter John Campbell shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming season: "This is the ideal way to kick off our 2025 campaign. A Scottish Cup derby always brings a high level of tension and excitement, and it's a fantastic chance for fans to see our new side in action."

2025 Season Launch Show

The always enjoyable Season Launch Show is set to return for 2025, offering the chance to get acquainted with the new team. Taking place on Friday 28th March, the event will be held at Napier University Craiglockhart, starting at 7:30pm.

Hosts John and Liam will bring their quick wit to the stage as they introduce the full Monarchs lineup, including both new and returning riders. All seven team members will be in attendance, promising a great evening with our heroes before the season begins.

Stellar Monarchs Academy

Plans have also been finalised for Stellar Monarchs Academy 2025 season opening. The side will launch the National Development League campaign at Armadale Stadium on Saturday 12th April, from 7pm with the Academy team set to take on Middlesbrough Tigers.
