Edinburgh Monarchs
This Friday Armadale Stadium hosts the most important Scottish speedway derby in a decade as Stellar Monarchs take on Glasgow Tigers in the Cab Direct Championship Play Offs.
Big crowds have enjoyed a sensational series of derby encounters throughout the season with Friday's match set to be the biggest of them all.
At these previous encounters the stadium car parks have quickly filled up resulting in supporters finding other places to park in the nearby streets.
Every effort will be made to maximise the space in use in the car parks but once they do fill up, likely by 7pm, supporters are asked to park considerately in the local area.
Monarchs Co-promoter John Campbell said, "We are anticipating our biggest crowd for a number of years this Friday which means our car parks will be at maximum capacity from quite early on.
"Mallace Avenue is a particular problem as parking on the first part the road completely blocks one side of the carriageway and creates the danger of collision between cars entering and leaving the estate. Supporters have also parked on grassed areas of this estate and this cannot happen again.
"We kindly ask that all supporters use consideration in parking and think how they would feel if someone parked at their front door in an equivalent situation."
Please park with consideration on Friday including paying special attention to not blocking access to any road or driveway, nor parking in a situation that will create a danger to local traffic.
Anticipation is building ahead of what is sure to be a thrilling encounter this Friday. Car park gates open at 6pm, with the stadium turnstiles opening at 6:30pm and the action getting underway from 7:30pm.
