Pre-season schedule starts Saturday

Can you spare a few hours on a Saturday morning? Join the volunteers from this Saturday onwards to give Armadale Stadium a spruce up ahead of the new season!

Working parties will start this Saturday 28th February at Armadale Stadium and continue every Saturday throughout March to prepare for the upcoming season. Work will get underway at 9am each Saturday and will continue into the early afternoon.

Monarchs Co-Promoter John Campbell said, "It is always fantastic to get out to the stadium to start preparations for the new season. The weeks fly by from here and the excitement grows day by day.

"The more the merrier is the call as we look to make a real impact in tidying up the stadium. Please come along if you can, you will be made most welcome."

This Saturday's tasks include re-erecting a fence as well as some general weeding and tidying. Future weeks will include re-installing the air fence from its winter storage.

Whether it be a few hours one week or every week - all assistance is much appreciated. Please come prepared with suitable warm, old clothing and a pair of working/gardening gloves if possible.

Work will also take place on Wednesdays and Fridays leading up to the start of the season, please contact us here for details if you can help out on these days.

Should any Saturday working party be postponed due to poor weather an update will be posted here on the official website by 8am on the morning of the working party. Please check before you travel.
