With the new season just around the corner, Monarchs are aiming to bolster the volunteer ranks to help matchdays go with a swing. There are lots of ways to get involved - find out more!


Half Cut Draw Ticket Seller

A seller is sought for Half Cut Draw Tickets at every home match this season. This role takes place pre-match, allowing you to enjoy all of the action after completing your duty.


Trainee Start Marshal

Get right to the heart of the action as a start marshal! Learn from the best start marshal team in the business and be on hand to help at the start line - working your way up to help cover as a stand-in start marshal.


Tractor Driver

Can you drive a tractor and are willing to learn about speedway track preparation? This role can either be pre-match or during the match, with a driving licence essential.


Stadium Maintenance Assistant

Are you good with your hands and eager to make sure Armadale Stadium is at its best every week? Helpers are sought to assist the maintenance team both on Wednesday mornings as well as on Fridays throughout the day.


Match Photographer

Are you an experienced photographer with a keen eye for a great shot? Previous photography and photo editing experience required. This role will be on a trial basis to find the right photographer to join the team long-term.


Roving Camera Operator

We're looking for someone who's switched on and ready to get in amongst the action with unrivalled behind the scenes access as you go roving with a video camera. This camera feed will be beamed around the world on EMTV:Live.


Graphic Designer

Can you help to make graphics to go out on Monarchs social media each week? If you have some artistic flair and experience making graphics then this role is for you.


Monarchs Speedway Academy Coach

Have you got experience riding a speedway bike and an eagerness to coach the next generation of talent? A coach is sought for both pre-match Friday sessions and Saturday early afternoon sessions.


Journalist/Content Creator

Are you a budding journalist or aspiring sports reporter? Join Monarchs PR Team and write about your favourite speedway team! No experience required but a strong grasp of written English is essential.


Stand-In First Aid Team Member

An occasional role as a member of the First Aid team to cover holidays and absence. Witness the action from the centre green and be first on the scene if the unfortunate happens on track. A First Aid at Work certificate is required as a minimum.


As with most roles at the Club, these positions are on a voluntary basis with full training provided to help you in your role. Get in touch if you would like to get involved!
