Although there is no meeting at Armadale tonight, an exciting month of racing is coming up at the stadium this July - starting next Friday 10th!

Next week sees the Redcar Bears visit in an important Cab Direct Championship battle. The Bears always prove difficult visitors for the Monarchs but it is a vital match for us as we try to cement our place in the top four and secure a play off place. We had a disappointing defeat at the Ecco Arena last week but, being only 8 points down, the bonus point is very much up for grabs.

Monarchs VIP Hospitality

For those who wish to make it a special night we still have limited hospitality places available offering admission, match programme, hot and cold drinks, a light buffet and the best view in the stadium overlooking the third and fourth bends. Tickets, priced at £46 for adults and £17 for children (5 to 11) are available to book here.

Supporters Bus to Armadale Stadium

All supporters are reminded that we operate a coach service from Edinburgh for each Monarchs meeting departing Sheriffhall Park and Ride(EH22 1RR) at 5.45pm and Waterloo Place in central Edinburgh at 6.15pm. The coach returns to Edinburgh immediately after the main event. No need to book just arrive at your chosen departure point. It's £12 for adults and £5 for children.

Academy aim to extend lead

On 17th July the Table topping Monarchs Academy team, starring Jordy Loftus, Dayle Wood, James Shanes and new sensation Ben Whalley, will welcome the King's Lynn Young Stars and will be looking to retain their unbeaten league record. National Development League match have proved exceptionally watchable at Armadale.

Gladiators incoming - Plus celebrate Ed the Monarch's birthday - and see vintage speedway bikes in action

The following week it is back to Championship action with the Monarchs welcoming Plymouth Gladiators with track experts Danny King and Scott Nicholls in the opposition line up. The famous Plymouth Bar Bandits supporters' group will also be joining us to liven up the evening with their multi flag display.

Ed the Monarch is also thrilled to celebrate his Birthday Bash at this match, including his annual kids fun run and cup cakes for all whilst stocks last. Join Ed for some fun!

In the second half of this meeting we will be bringing you some Blast from the Past racing action on vintage speedway bikes in a Scotland v England encounter. These bikes will be on display before the meeting for you to take a close up look at.

Away action

There is also lots of away action to look forward to including two trips to Glasgow (11th and 31st July) to take on the Tigers, and a visit to Workington (25th July).

Monarchs Academy also head to Oxford to take on the reigning league champions on Wednesday 15th July.
