Much-loved mascot Ed the Monarch is getting ready to celebrate his Birthday Bash at this Friday's home match against Plymouth - and you're invited!

Ed has been counting down the days to his annual Birthday Bash, taking place this Friday July 24th at the home match against Plymouth Gladiators.

To mark the occasion, Ed is treating fans to birthday cupcakes on arrival - but be quick, they won't last long! You'll find them just inside the stadium… unless a certain lion gets there first!

During the match, Ed will host his much-loved Fun Run – inviting all kids in attendance to join him for a lap of the Armadale shale. Every participant will receive a prize, so listen out on Friday for the call to the track.

The Gladiators are set to bring a strong travelling support who are sure to add to the atmosphere on what will be a great occasion.

Vintage Speedway Bike Display

To make the occasion extra special, Ed has arranged for a vintage speedway bike display to be in the stadium for all to take a look at. Then the bikes will take to track after the match for some demonstration races.

Ben Fund Collection on Friday

Also taking place during Friday's match is the annual collection for the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund. Please bring some cash and give generously to support this vital charity which provides assistance to injured riders across the sport.
